Our Story-From the beginning

Cory and I met back in 2005 while we were both working at the Olive Garden. We were introduced by a mutual friend that worked with us at the restaurant. Cory was interested in me at first, but I was with somebody at the time and had no interest in leaving him. I told him that we could just be friends. We talked very often on the phone and eventually we became very close. I knew that my current boyfriend wasn't treating me well so as luck would have it I began to see Cory as more than just a friend.

Cory and I made it official on August 2, 2006. When Cory became a Manager it was difficult to spend time together because of his work schedule, but we were forced to make it work. During our 2 years dating I had to endure two "openings". Cory was doing so well in his line cook postion at the olive garden that he had been choosen to open two new olive garden restruants and train the new employees there. Cory was gone up to a month each time he did an opening, and it was heartbreaking for me. All I wanted to do was spend time with my new boyfriend and I wasn't able to do that because he was always working. I know now that this is would eventually become the life of a restrant manager's wife.
